Clinical
Kings County Hospital is the first Level 1 Trauma Center in the United States. It was founded over 175 years ago. Kings County Hospital is known for a few medical first such as; the first hospital to conduct open-heart surgery in New York State, the first hospital to produce human images with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), the world's first hemodialysis machine, and the first studies for HIV infections in women.

At Kings County Hospital, I conducted nutrition assessments, provided counseling/education, and practiced clinical leadership skills.
During staff relief I practiced clinical skills and leadership skills by managing my own patient care workload.

Clinical Staff Relief Rotation included 64 Hours:

Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Clinical knowledge and skills were used to support clinical dietitians on assigned floors
