During my volunteer work with City Harvest, I helped rescue foods at Greenmarkets, conducted food demonstrations, and worked in schools to help students learn about healthy tasty snacks.

As a food service volunteer, I learned many important skills needed to run a food service operation. I learned about food preparation, food safety, and basic management skills.

While interning at T.E.A.L., I helped with fundraising and sponsorships for the T.E.A.L. Walk/Run for Ovarian Cancer. I would also drop off informative pamphlets about ovarian cancer to doctor's offices and wellness centers.
