During my community rotation, I worked with a variety of age groups at Kings County Hospital Outpatient Clinic to promote management of bariatric surgery, cancer, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and renal disease through nutrition. At Kings County Hospital's Women Infants and Children (WIC) program, I learned about community based public health programs. Every month at the Kings Bay Y they have a food pantry for the community, I volunteered during May 2022.
